Bit of Apple Cookies

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup uncooked oatmeal
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
3/4 cup wheat germ
1 cup finely chopped, peeled and cored apples

Procedure

  1. Cream shortening; add sugar and eggs.
  2. Mix dry ingredients and combine with creamed mixture. Add apples.
  3. Drop by spoonfuls on a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 10-15 minutes at 350.

Serves approx. 36. Per Serving: Calories 83; Calories from fat 28(34%); Fat 3g; Carbohydrates 13g; Sugar 6g; Fiber 0g; Protein 1g
