Monte Cristo Sandwiches
Ingredients
4 oz Sliced Ham
4 oz Sliced low-fat Swiss
8 slices whole wheat sandwich bread
3 eggs beaten
1 tsp sugar
3 Tbs milk
salt and pepper
Procedure

Prepare sandwiches of ham and swiss.
- Mix together eggs, sugar, milk, salt and pepper.
- Dip sandwiches in batter and saute in butter or oil until golden brown.
- Dust with powdered sugar and serve with jam.
