Rhubarb Sauce

Ingredients

5 cup of rhubarb, cut into small pieces
1 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon

Procedure

  1. Place fruit, sugar and cinnamon in a heavy saucepan. Cover and cook slowly until rhubarb is tender, about half an hour.
  2. Serve hot over ice cream, french toast, pancakes or cold in place of applesauce to accompany meat and main dishes.

Serves 8. Per Serving: Calories 114; Calories from fat 1(1%); Fat 0g; Carbohydrates 29g; Sugar 26g; Fiber 2g; Protein 1g
